8pm Arc of the Sky, Blythburgh

This is a promenade performance that will take place around the church as well as inside. There will be some walking involved. 

In March 2020 The Voice Project had planned to start rehearsing a new show, Arc of the Sky, inspired by the idea of a bird’s-eye view of Holy Trinity Church, Blythburgh, known as the Cathedral of the Marshes, the landscape it sits in -  the Blyth estuary - and the coastline. Covid-19 halted the project and instead of the live performances, we made a film with 120 choral singers and professional soloists.

Two years on, we are presenting Arc of the Sky as live performances  incorporating songs, sounds and images from the films with singers who took part then as well as some joining for the first time.
