ARC OF THE SUN

Choral theatre project spring-summer 2023

Our summer 2023 choral project Arc of the Sun is the next chapter in our series of summer projects, featuring original music and inspiring poetry that explores our relationship to nature and the landscape

Performances will take place on 15 July 2023 in Salle Church, Norfolk, which is renowned for having one of the most beautiful acoustics in the country.

We will be learning newly created material as well as songs from previous projects Arc of the Sky and Ideas of Flight.

Rehearsals, and a free taster session, will take place in Norwich, Brighton and online.

Anyone can join us and no experience is required.

Brighton and online singers are welcome to come and take part in the performances in Norfolk.

Brighton: Saturday 27 May, 10.30am - 12.30pm, St Luke's Prestonville, Old Shoreham Road, Brighton
Norwich: Tuesday 25 April, 7.30-9.30pm, Friends Meeting House, Upper Goat Lane
Online: Wednesday 26 April, 7-8pm on Zoom

Participant fees

Donation rate £150
Standard rate £120
Concession rate £95

When booking you will also have the option to add a donation towards our core running costs, should you wish to do so. Participant fees and ticket sales cover approximately 50% of the costs of running a project and as we do not receive regular funding any contribution is gratefully received.

Brighton rehearsals:

Saturdays 3, 17 June and 1 July, 10.30am - 4pm at St Luke's Prestonville, Brighton

Online rehearsals:

Wednesdays, from 3 May to 12 July, 7-8pm BST, on Zoom

Salle Church rehearsals:

Sundays 2 and 9 July, 11am-3.30pm

Friday 14 July, 7.30-9.30pm (dress rehearsal)

Performances 5.30pm and 8pm 15 July 2023
