In 2010 we are offering a range of vocal workshops and performance opportunities. Each project is designed to be accessible as well as musically interesting – if you have any questions you can contact us at info@voiceproject.co.uk

OPEN VOICES

This course is designed to get your voice freed up to sing. For anyone from the beginnner to the experienced singer - we will look at how the voice works and how to get the best out of it - singing music from a whole range of vocal traditions from Gregorian chant to African American Gospel - as well as looking at the vocal basics - body, breath, tuning, harmony, and rhythm for singers.

Rehearsals: Tuesdays 7.30pm - 9.30pm at the Friends Meeting House Upper Goat Lane Norwich
4 week course starting 14th September

WINTERSONGS

Songs of Light and Dark - A seasonal concert project for the Voice Project Choir and Human Music ( Jon Baker, Sharon Durrant, Dave Camlin, Sian Croose, Helen Chadwick, Sianed Jones and Katherine Zeserson).

This is the third in the Wintersongs series featuring some brilliant new music written by members of Human Music. Over the rehearsal period you will have the opportunity to learn a programme of songs and take part in what will be an inspiring and uplifting event in the extraordinary acoustic of St Johns Catholic Cathedral in Norwich. Again - this project is open to all and we provide online rehearsal materials on our website.

Rehearsals:
Tuesdays 7.30 - 9.45pm at the Friends Meeting House Upper Goat Lane Norwich
10 week project starting October 12th
2 Saturday rehearsals October 16th/November 13th 10.30am - 4.00pm
Fee £95/80 concs

Concert 11th December at St John's Catholic Cathedral, Earlham Road
